Awesome. Seriously, all that's needed is a fixed price and a guarantee, and magically everything would improve. That actually HAS been tried a few times that I've heard of in the past few years, and the demand was just insane. It's what people want, but the laws have been set up to create obfuscation and insane profits, and so it is rare, indeed. Add legal price discovery, and magically prices would come down. Seriously, my dentist does that, and sticks to it. I have an auto repair place that can do it, also. Good business. If medical costs came down 66% and quality went up 50% (in terms of outcomes) then we'd be... AVERAGE wtf... why isn't that done yesterday?!? The 100 trillion in entitlements (going out 50+ years) would probably disappear completely.
