And retail sale are decent:

Redbook Research estimated that chain-store sales rose 2.4% in December, seasonally adjusted, from November, based on new data for the fifth week of December ended Jan. 3. The Redbook store sales index rose 6% month-to-date, seasonally adjusted, versus the year-ago month. It rose 7.3% compared with the same week a year ago, not seasonally adjusted.

derek(bullish while others are not)

GM,

I take what Briefing says with a grain of salt... and then a spoonful<G> They are very technially oriented, so in times of a down trend like we are currently experiencing, they will always be Bearish. At some point though, it's MO that you must make the decision to buy even though the chart looks crappy. In fact, bacause of it! Read through some of their views on stocks. Nothing at all with fundamentals, only the technical side. There is a place for TA, but fundamental analysis ALWAYS should come first IMO.

Regards,

Brian
