A Fujitsu 640MB MO drive trade-in for $150 if you bring your Zip in.<<

Yea, and it's only $499. So cost is $350 and a used Zip drive, right?

pages.warehouse.com

Sleek and ultra portable....and look at those transfer rates...above 3MB/sec! Access times of 35 milliseconds. Wow...that's blazing! Say, is that using the SCSI or the PP interface?

fcpa.com

For $399 you can have a Jaz with 56% more capacity, more than double the transfer rates and half the access times. Also, don't forget the large installed base of Jaz drives. Compatibility is key, right, Rocky?

In all fairness, though, Rocky, the Dynamo 640 MO drive has it's niche use: archival storage. Hard drive expansion? No.
