Backup a individual file is not useful for us at all.

Our database consists of 3 years of data worth 400MB and growing. We do daily backup and also disaster backup everyweek. For daily backup, we backup to one of our ws. For disaster backup we use mobile rack and may consider a portable HDD like Jaz or SparQ or Orb (or Zip2, HiFD if it is affordable and *available*<g>). For my own development, I use CD-RW for backup.
