But, my hypothesis is that there is some Softbank subsidiary that is manipulating. Under this (maybe false?) hypothetical scenario, the subsidiary can buy the shares that Softbank parent will sell and all the more available. Then the shorts can be squeezed. I do not envision this because some Mutual fund will bail out or (better) Softbank will crack open. There is a demand by Softbank shareholders to disclose full information on an actually loosing subsidiary (the CEO has acknowledged that it has lost ~US$96 mil). That this sub may be trading is completely hypothetical and not to be believed without facts. <G>
