I'm amazed at the amount of energy you personally have put into arguing the issue just on this thread. There will be no agreement that it's real until and unless we're close to hitting bottom and there will be no agreement that it isn't until and unless the climate takes a sizeable turn in the other direction and/or the next shiny thing comes along.

I wouldn't take any foreign refugees until I'm sure we can relocate and continue to produce food and providfe drinking water for all the people in Miami, New Orleans, NYC, Newport News, Alaskan villages, Las Vegas, my Central Valley, and points beyond

That statement assumes one adaption factor--that we're not going to build a dike around existing towns but rather we will have refugees. Is that a given? I've seen no indication of that let alone a "consensus."

BTW, is "providfe" related to "confefe?"
