We want to move closer to where our kids live. I'd like to do software development for a few more years if I can find work doing something interesting. Both those things will be easier if we relocate, I think. Developers make nothing here as employees, and Indy development is a much tougher gig than it was in the 90s. I don't think I have the energy for it anymore. When we moved here we wanted to get our kids out of the city before they got old enough to drive lol. Some cities, like Austin, are just starting to develop and have recently headed down the nutjob path. Others are a long way from there.
