This is not something I do habitually. --- DATED MATERIAL--PLEASE ACT UPON ASAP (responses need to be received by February 13, 1998) Your local telephone company has filed a proposal with the FCC to impose per minute charges for your internet service. They contend that your usage has or will hinder the operation of the telephone network. In my opinion, e-mail usage will diminish if users are required to pay additional per minute charges. EVERY PHONE COMPANY is in on this one, and they are trying to sneak it in just under the wire for litigation! This is really important! If we have to pay for e-mail, the cost will skyrocket. Right now it's about the only really cost-effective means of communication. The FCC has created an e-mail box for your comments, and your responses must be received by February 13, 1998!
