My suggestion was to link a reply to a rec. If I PM'd you thanks, you might not know what I was referring to without an explanation. This is how a reply normally looks. My suggestion would replace "who wrote" with "who rec'd" when responding to a rec. Another issue is that often I'll hear the audio rec alert and I'll check my recent posts, but there are no new recs for my recent posts. What has happened is that someone has just rec'd an old post, but I will never know who just rec'd me or for what. In that situation it would be nice if SI could tell me what my last rec was. Dmitry does a great job and is pursuing this line of software development. Other things he has added are including the name of those making recommendations, audible alerts, and total rec counts.
