Donald,

Re: For those following my OSX trades, the If the OSX closes here at 102 it will be a HAMMER, indicating reversal. Actually it should close at its high of 102.38 to be a true hammer. Lets cross our fingers.

Do you consider candlesticks as part of your forecasting system, or do you just look at these for additional non essential confirmation?

Esteban

Donald; RE:" DJIA/SPX Candlesticks "

For those following my OSX trades, the If the OSX closes here
at 102 it will be a HAMMER, indicating reversal.

INDU up 85 points in the last 20 minutes, creating a very powerful, small-head Hammer Candlestick on the basic DJIA-30 index. The OEX and INX should follow.

You could see the buyers coming in to CL98H (oil futures) XOI.X (Big Oil) and OSX.X (oil services) all during this bad-news blitz on the American teevee yesterday and today (I'm in Houston for the time being). I find the TV quite distracting now, having been without it for so long :-/

Man, I was quite surprised at the extent of the rally in the last 20 minutes of the session, and am glad I was not holding index PUTs during this incredible, 4-points per minute x 20 minute short squeeze!

Good luck on your OSX.X bounce, Donald... are you using JAN or FEB contracts ?
