There are other file managers available, but I always preferred the dual pane design that Microsoft had in the ancient Windows 3.1 days.

For years I would copy Dosshell over to new computers even after Microsoft abandoned it because of the double window setup. Even after after I discovered PowerDesk, I would revert to Dosshell because it was so simple and easy to use and copy across. It worked for a long time via the run command with upgrades, but finally quit working along the upgrade path.
