this from 'the street' tonight on Yahoo!'s front page.

Executives from the American steel sector have directly appealed to President Donald Trump to levy immediate restrictions on imports, Reuters reports. The request from the executives of 25 U.S. steel and steel-related firms, which came via a letter to the President on Wednesday, says the industry is languishing from government inaction, adding that this could change with "bold leadership" and an "America First" vision. "The need for action is urgent. Since the 232 investigation was announced in April, imports have continued to surge," the executives said in the letter. The companies include Nucor Corp ( NUE) , U.S. Steel ( X) , ArcelorMittal ( MT) and DTE Energy ( DTE) .
