Here's a random thought...

According to H&Q, 8% of USC's contribution to S3's earnings is $0.34 a share. This is based on approx 50 million outstanding shares of S3 stock. Now, ALSC has about 39 million shares outstanding so 8% of USC's contribution to earnings should be about $0.41 a share for ALSC. So, 19% of USC's contribution should be close to $1.00 a share for the year! Therefore, ALSC should earn $1.00 a share for FY98 from USC alone! Gee, why does the consensus estimate for ALSC's FY98 say -$0.04 a share.

Wow! I don't think I believe a word H&Q says :-)

Go ALSC!
