I had a great day playing golf and hanging out with some old friends yesterday. Didn't look at the market until very late at night. Naturally, the stars align when I'm not watching<g> VXX looks like it could do one of it's short lived rebounds as well (bottom chart). Nice intraday move, up 15% then down 10%.....hoping someone caught a significant gain in their portfolio! Short lived was right. I think it's time to watch the volatility indexes more carefully. Yesterday was most likely end of quarter profit taking but the fact that the move was so dramatic may be saying there's more underlying this action than simply rotation and profit taking. Let's see if it gets "more exciting" in early July.....
