it was the gasoline crisis in the early 70"s i looked out my window and there was a reporter at the loading rack with a camera man. no idea why security let him, (perhaps bought his way in). i went down told him he needed to leave the property. he asked me about all those tankers sitting off the shore waiting to come into terminals as soon as the price gets higher. i told him you know that is not true. yes, he replied but it makes good news on tonights broadcast. i lost all trust in the news!
