Quick comment for ALL!!!!!!!!!!! VVUS earnings will be released on 1/15 after the close. The conference call begins at 4:30 pm. est. VVUS will be hosting an institutional meeting at their NEW facility on 1/30. VVUS mailed out approx. 25,000 ad packages to PCP's and MD's nationwide over the christmas holiday. These ad packages are to prepare MD's for the Feb. ad blitz by VVUS. I was told that Viagra was not on the FDA panel review list for January and will not be up for consideration until April at the earliest. This means that Viagra will not get final FDA approval till MAY (earliest possible date). Rumor has it that VVUS is planning a price increase for MUSE of approx. 3-4%. Strange for a co. with questionable demand! <ggg> IMO, if the CC. on the 15th goes well, and questions about the new plant and capacity are well received, certain analysts on Wall St. may upgrade their opnion of the stock. Finally, one analyst in particular is pushing the company to buyback the maximum # of shares authorized ~1,600,000 shares as soon as earnings are announced.
