Shh-I knew you were going to say that-! HAAA! And I am ready! Madame Fortuna Frastrada is but one of the Roman Goddesses of Fate! You may be Fortuna Muliebris (Goddess of Women) or Fortuna Scribenda (goddess who writes) or Bona Fortuna or Mala Fortuna (good and bad fate).
Frastrada actually is the legendary wife of Charlemagne, a witch from the east. The story goes that the cathedral of Aix-la-Chapelle was built over a magic pool with her ring in it. Anyone who visited the pool was seized by her magic and had to return again and again. My maiden name was Chappell, so I knew immediately that I was Frastrada in a past life. ANd not only that! I played KAtherine in Pippin, which was about Charlemagne or his son or something! Wow.
