A 300 dollar computer won't run the software I use. I need at least an i5. SI was kind enough to buy me a new Dell i5 with Windows 7 Pro. I didn't want Windows 10 as the software is not compatible and its worth a lot of money. Its their computer and I have the option to buy it our at some point in time.

I run Windows 7 on 2 computers, and Windows 10 on a 7 year old notebook that does not function properly after the upgrade. The major problem is the fan runs very fast and you can't slow it down. Toshiba said it was not compatible win 10 and I should not have upgraded it. Also contacting MS about the fan speed said I should not have upgraded to Windows 10. Strange coming from them when they force the upgrade down your throat.
