Maybe society will devolve from countries back to city states like ancient Greece. I remember taking the train from Frankfurt airport late one night during a stop-over and being genuinely shocked at what a dismal place it is. We went from weird bar to strange bar before getting back to the airport at 4:00 am. Alcohol didn't help the experience, I was sober as a judge leaving and grateful I didn't live there.
