Richard, Welcome back.

SEG warns after the close.

Today - before the close -

SEG down 6%
WDC down 1.5%
QNTM down 3.5%

Of course, the SEC and the exchanges will tell us that they have made a thoro investigaton and found no evidence of unusual trading.

Yeah, right.

Disclosure - I still own 500 SEG. A lot less than I did, but probably still too much.

Dick, great to see you back on the thread. We thought you might be feeling nostalgic, so we got together and arranged for a couple of DD warnings.

Catch you later.

By the way, I'm mostly in cash. I'm making a few trades both on the long and short sides. But I'm considering going seriously short in another couple of weeks. Don't know yet whether I will play the indexes or certain stocks or a combination.

I've been speaking to some of my former colleagues and they say things are a real mess in Asia (business-wise). I've been saying for awhile that companies will not be able to get credit for investment or perhaps even for operations, and the ATML announcement seems to confirm that view. I'd be interested in your opinion after spending a couple of months over there.
