10 states threaten to sue Trump if he doesn't end Obama/Trump amnesty as he promised:

States THREATEN to SUE TRUMP if he doesn’t KILL Obama’s amnesty program…

Jul. 1, 2017 9:02 am by SooperMexican

While some people still pretend that Trump is doing everything he promised, there are ten states led by Texas that are threatening to sue him if he doesn’t shut down Obama’s “Dream Act” amnesty.

President Donald Trump has let one Obama-era immigration policy continue — and conservative states are running out of patience.

Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton was joined by his counterparts in nine other states in a letter Thursday warning Attorney General Jeff Sessions that if the Trump administration does not move to end Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals, they will file a court challenge to the program.

At the heart of the threat is ongoing litigation in another related program — giving the attorneys general an opening to squeeze the administration on DACA.

Despite explicitly pledging during the campaign to “immediately” rescind DACA, the Trump administration has continued to honor the program and issue new permits under it.

The administration has largely tried to have it both ways, continuing the program and pledging to protect its recipients while at the same time saying that situation is not necessarily permanent and arresting individuals that officials say have lost their DACA status. The position has angered activists on both sides of the issue, who have expressed rare agreement on the frustration that the administration won’t clearly articulate its long-term plans for DACA.

Ironically, Trump shut down DAPA, the corollary to DACA, but that was stalled in the courts anyway, so it was yet another example of his exaggerating building a molehill into a mountain.

There were a few of us who predicted this, having seen him lie and exaggerate his way into the Oval Office. But we were told that we just needed to suck it up and ignore our principles for the sake of the party. How is that working out so far?

10 states tell Trump to DUMP “Dreamer” program or they’ll sue to force him!

Jun. 30, 2017 1:20 pm by The Right Scoop139 Comments

States are getting fed up with Trump continuing Obama’s illegal DACA program for illegals and are now threatening to sue if he doesn’t stop the program altogether.

Watch:

Here’s more:

FOX NEWS – Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton and eight other state attorneys general, along with Republican Idaho Gov. Butch Otter, are urging the Trump administration to end the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrival Program.

The 10-state coalition is giving the Trump administration until September 5 to rescind DACA and not renew or issue any new DACA permits in the future — or Paxton said the coalition will press on with its lawsuit against the program currently pending in the District Court for the Southern District of Texas.

“We respectfully request that the secretary of homeland security phase out the DACA program,” Paxton wrote in a letter dated Thursday to Attorney General Jeff Sessions. “Just like DAPA, DACA unilaterally confers eligibility for work authorization and lawful presence without any statutory authorization from Congress.”

I’m very glad to see these states pushing Trump to do what he said he would do on the campaign trail and end this illegal amnesty program. Trump has a couple of months to do so and if he doesn’t end the program, I fully support the lawsuit to force his hand.

It's a cold day in hell when states have to sue a 'Republican' president over illegal backdoor amnesty pushed through illegally by a Democrat. But since Trump's DHS was telling Congress just last week to codify that illegal EO into law that Trump himself wants to keep this makes it now Trump's illegal EO once again putting the onerous on the states to have to sue the federal government to follow the law and burdening the states financially.

But what would one expect from a NYC limousine Democrat who while we're out here busting ourselves getting our states in order for the last 10+ years, fighting against illegal immigration that same NYC Democrat was meeting with Obama's illegal 'DREAMer' activists and telling them "You've convinced me!" while he continuously funded all the Democrats against all our efforts.

How sad is it that Republican Attorneys General have to threaten a "Republican" president in order to secure America.
