There will be continue pressure on this dude and the other disk
drive dudes too, but of course I think the risk is rather low,
just that this dude is probably not going to move for a few months.
I think there are other better place for action.

ATML....traded down...but not hugely.....maybe will go back to old low......and hold.....MU has been holding and they are going to lose money...book value?

Of course it wasnt totally unexpected. I dont think the market has completely discounted the stock however. I look for a drop of 5-8% tommorow across the sector.

All: Just passing through, attracted by the earnings warning and because I own Adaptec. Its stock price may be affected by the spate of grim news from the disk drive sector, but I don't think Adaptec's earnings will disappoint. Due week after next. If you haven't seen the following article, you won't like it. Projects difficult year for most companies in the hard drive sector this year. I can't vouch for its accuracy. Claims sub-K computer market as the major sap on profits.
