Cyrix has skipped .35u and have MediaGX fabricated in .25u processor.

I am not sure if the manufacturing costs is lower on .25u than .44u since IBM ME would definitely charge NSM higher per wafer. In the previous discussion on this thread, your guys seem to miss the real meaning of having MediaGX in .25u process.

Not only clock speed could be higher, consume less power and run cooler, the most important issue is that Cyrix is going to get more chips from each wafer. It should mean that significantly more MediaGX chips are on their way to dump the market!

Do I make sense? If I was right, watch out some design wins in the next few weeks! However, NSM might fall further with every good news from Cyrix. :(
