Patrick,

Thanks for the OEX call this morning. I didn't play OEX, but bought some NE calls this morning, since the oil services had been hammered so hard.

I've found it tough to make a buck with the OEX, so have moved to stock options a little. Please continue to post your market and OEX thoughts, I've found them to be highly accurate.

Regards,

Paul

Pat,

I have been following the discussion on RAIN. One has to consider the volume today. ACK!

exchange2000.com

(Get my drift? ;)

Now, go to this URL, click on "intraday charts" in the left margin, and enter RAIN for the symbol...GASP!

investools.com

I almost posted on the RAIN thread about a month ago as I was again very dissatisfied with my experience at the RAIN location at Disney World. From start to finish, it was a bust. This was not the first time that I had experienced problems there, and I had commented months ago on the RAIN thread that I was not overly impressed with the place even at that time. The Chicago location was much better, no problems there, but Orlando continues to be quite a problem. I understand that the revenues there must be considerable, but that is due to the sheer number of guests there on Disney vacations, not inherently due to RAIN. It is an interesting sight to behold, and draws lots of attention, particularly from the kiddies, but ALL of the restaurants at Downtown Disney are veritably packed ALL of the time. (Jeffers and I would've had a 3+ hour wait when we were there last May, so we bolted to Dizzy's Polynesian Resort instead and had a fabulous time.)

There will be a second RAIN location opening this year in the new Animal Kingdom, Disney's latest (& biggest) theme park. They will have to do quite well from "quantity" alone, but the "quality" is definitely lacking. So, I am curious to see if RAIN can get it together at Disney or not. Again, I'm sure the revenues are stellar for that location, but I doubt seriously that many would seek out RAIN locations in other areas if their experiences paralleled mine. (I was not the only one with a problem on those visits I might add...in fact, some had walked out of the restaurant complaining...)

Just my four cents worth. (It takes me twice the space to write half of what most others would post!) :)

So maybe it's actually my one cent worth?? <gggg>

Happy trading. hehehe

xox,
V.
