There are a lot of oddities politically. By choice, I am an atheist. WHILE I do not dispute the wonderful processes of nature, science and discovery. I assume critical thinking of course, you may call that my strength or my weakness, depending on POV. I respect the positive roles of religion for my ancestors and yours, and the relative choices they made especially before the enlightenment - and printing press. I would also fight for EVERYONE'S right to have your own private consensual religion so long as it does not infringe of the rights of others. I would have a very few friends if I had no respect for religion. Same-same for Republicans, Its complicated.
