I seriously doubt that Microsoft will lose. In any case, it is probably a win-win for Microsoft.

If they win, then it is business as usual. If they lose, they will still win because they have the superior product and they have what customers want.

You remember the Justice Dept originally wanted 1 mil per day. If the judge were to impose such a fine until MSFT complied with his order then I think the stakes get higher.
