Somewhat. INTC price has gone down from 100 to 70, but P/E is still 18+.
I remember it was 11 or so only a couples of years ago. Who knows, may be the stock is heading back there again.
It may haven't been discounted yet with regard to competition. Compaq tried AMD before, but had to dump them in favor of Intel because AMD couldn't provide steady supply of chips in sufficient quantities. Low yeild from silicon wafers has always been their problem. So they were around for a while and everybody get used to see them as an Intel'shadow and not to take seriously.
Also pay attention they are doing .25uk chips.
