Why should they?

In their long lifetime they create a fraction of the pollution and CO2 impact of any fossil fueled power plant.

And that's only in their construction.

Energy payback in less than a year.

Most PV's manufactured today should last well over fifty years.

Mine on my homes are over 25 years old and still putting out over 92% of nameplate capacity.

Zero failures so far.

No fossil fueled or Nuke plant can do that!
