RRman; Right now I use 1sph8 for an S&P futures fix in the morning,
that only seems to trade before and after the market. What
symbol do you track that trades all day ?

Another thing I found is the over all NYSE TICK, put out on
quote.com, it signals which way the more liqiud stocks are
going to move. Its like relitive + or - based at 1..today early
there were over 500 down ticks at one time for every 1 up tick.
When that started backing off to about 200 at about 12 I knew
the market was going to bounce, and regain some losses, by 1pm it moved on the positive side just a little and contined to move
more to the positive the rest of the day. The tick refelts
what is happening IMO it is often more reliable than the
Futures..I have seen the market move aginst the Futures,
but not aginst the tick.
