Technical analysis is predominantly garbage but I think the chart does look like one with some good potential. Huge base and approaching 3-month highs right before earnings are about to accelerate (on a year-over-year basis). On a six month chart basis, it looks a lot like SEBL's chart did back in April/May. Of course, the extent of SEBL's rise was because of tremendous acceleration in its fundamental biz so VNTV will have to put up some big numbers this quarter and next to get a really good move. It's possible if Lucent comes to the table and loads up on VNTV product but that would be a surprise as Luongo has stated that Lucent is a 1998 event. Either way, if they make this quarter and recognize only a reasonable amount of the EDS contract, Q1 looks like it can't be bad as Lucent adds visibility. Chuck alludes to a large insurance company as a potential customer as well. hmm.
