Don Jr's released emails establish he (and Kushner and Manafort) were seeking and expected to get Russian government help in the race against Hillary in the form of incriminating information.

Goldstone identifies the attorney as "the Russian government attorney."

And that's actually accurate. She denies working for the Russian government but that's a legal fiction. She acts as an agent of the Russian government.

Goldstone says the "Crown prosecutor of Russia" ... offered "to provide the Trump campaign with some official documents and information that would incriminate Hillary and her dealings with Russia."

He undoubtedly means the Prosecutor General of Russia, a man VERY close to Putin.

More in later posts.

Brumar, you don't understand technology then. Read up on Clipper yourself:

en.wikipedia.org

(No excuses. If you have the time to post dozens of times a day on Russian conspiracy theories, you have the time to learn a little bit about technology and information security.)

By the way, this isn't about the Fourth Amendment. This is about government fearing technology and trying to get Silicon Valley to build in backdoors for law enforcement. From the Wiki article above:
The Clinton Administration argued that the Clipper Chip was essential for law enforcement to keep up with the constantly progressing technology in the United States. While many believed that the device would act as an additional way for terrorists to receive information, the Clinton Administration said it would actually increase national security. They argued that because “terrorists would have to use it to communicate with outsiders -- banks, suppliers and contacts. The Government could listen in on those calls.”

P.S. - If Apple is prevented from building an unhackable phone, what's to stop Samsung from doing just that? Or Huawei? Or Nokia?
