A couple of speculative up days in a LT loser and they get giddy/goofy:

>>Duncan- We Feel Your Pain! Well I cannot truly say that I speak unreservedly for all members of the BAY community, but given the kindly, charitable souls with whom I've become acquainted on the BAY thread, I think I can safely say that most of them share your pain today. We understand how difficult it must be to watch CSCO lose over a point and a half while BAY gains a similar amount.

I see BAY has acheived its leadership position. Nice 10% move!

>>Most of the gentle folk on the BAY thread would I am sure join with me in extending sympathies in this difficult time for you.

Probably the longest running dolt-a-thon on SI.

>>After all, we all make mistakes

Yup. And you apparently make them BIG. HUGE!

>>You were indeed wise not to take up my wager concerning whether BAY or CSCO's stock would do better in 1998. .

I don't need to wager anything - I don't make bets, never even bought a lottery ticket. I shall gather plenty of psychic income as events punish you. Everyone knows even a 3rd tier company like BAY can outperform the best over some period - but not the eventuality.

>>Truly, your actions speak louder than your words of disparagement with regards to the company that I suspect will provide Cisco's most formidable competition this year.

Read just about any brand xxx'er thread, they all say that. If BAY were formidable competition then Cisco would be in trouble. Glad that's not the case.

>>Again, may I extend my full sympathy for the difficult day you've had, the more difficult ones that I foresee in the future.

You could not be more correct. About BAY yesterday.

>>Long on CSCO, longer on BAY

Gee, above you spoke of "actions speak louder than your words" - yet you're hedging your bets, why not put it all on the latter lagger instead of the leader?

Keep 'em coming.
