In Asia, a struggle between gold and the dollar....

biz.yahoo.com

The article compares the performance of the two over the past 9 months and decides the winner on that basis.

My response: when everything is collapsing around them, people look for performance over hundreds and thousands of years, not 9 months.

Mark - In relation to this issue, I am curious as to exactly what you think the agenda is, how it is being accomplished, and why. The basic problem is that these countries artificially pegged their currencies at higher valuations than were sustainable. Espionage, plots, agenda's etc, I'd like to see some information or evidence support these ideas. As you yourself pointed out , the most immediate consequence of these events as far as the US is concerned is to make Asian products cheaper and more competitive in US markets. If these events are the culmination of a US agenda/plot, I'd like to have some detail on it. All that I'm detecting so far is something on the order of superstition.
