Bob G. To my understanding the original agreement for was for half of the 6x86 wafers and got extended to 6x86MX wafers.. however I believe the GX was explicitly NOT covered by that clause.. however IBM may have the right to make 6x86MXs (instead of a GX).. Also IBM may have chosen not to any Cyrix/NSM products and instead save the space of the (pfft) PowerPC or K6.. Steve Cyrix/NSM Rule!
