Peer review is totally bogus, as proved by the acceptance of the Mann, et al. Papers in 99. No one ever "reviewed" them. Hell, when McIntyre asked for the source code the publisher told him no one had ever asked for that before.

What peer review means is that someone read the paper. It doesn't mean anyone checked your conclusions, questioned your arithmetic, or doubted you used the correct statistics. Someone read the fucking paper.

It is a total misnomer to use the term review.
