Thanks Bonnie. I'm mainly confined to long side considerations so that short opportunities are outside my universe. Even so, there are a number of tech issues which I follow that seem to be getting low enough to at least bear careful watching. Maybe AMD will finally have a good quarter someday and the stock will turn around again. It went up about 400% the last time when hopes were high, but they seem to have blown it so far.

I don't see how the broader markets can go higher in the next several months, but I don't see the DOW at 4500 either, anytime soon. I think the economy will have to turn around before market averages retrace to historical norms. In the meantime and along the way there should be some good opportunities for longs like me to make some money now and then.

Good luck.
