With Photoshop you are allowed to use it on 2 computers. If you are getting a new one you have to deauthorized it on the only one or else it won't work on the new one, thats if you have 2 installs already, like one on a desktop and one on a laptop.

There may be other programs like that whereby you should properly uninstall it from the old PC before proceeding to the new PC.
That would be problematic in that I will use this computer until the day I get a blue screen.
