The iPhone, since around the 5, cannot be accessed without a number code or a finger Touch ID. Period. Even Apple can’t get in. Apple has designed it’s own iOS processor chip wherein resides what’s called the Security Enclave. This hardware/software handles the interface to the number code and Touch ID sensor in the front button. It handles encryption of all the data in the phone and only allows the iPhone’s user to use the apps.
