ok admittedly I am looking from a Catholic Old Testament POV.. Do the confronters ever win ?

And as I have posted elsewhere I am not even a fervent Catholic let alone another Christian sect.. More a spiritualist.. I go often to Church.. Well say twice monthly as it is familiar and a nice place to clear my head..

Old Testament seems all fire and brimstone..

Much quoted by fundamentalist Christian right..

Then again even
GOSPEL Matthew 13:24-43

from last week's sermon seems to tacitly condone slavery..

The God idea.. No Trait d'union

I am very good with.. But religion seems to me to be too much an artifact..
