"Nova" rerun tonight had a good metaphor. Rocks made life and life made rocks.

Trump is learning the hard lessons. Calling out the do nothing Senate is just the beginning if he wants to get his agenda through the congress. Just a guess on my part... I would re-evaluate my inner circle. His kids are not the ones to get his agenda pushed through with career pols like Mitch and Paul setting roadblocks at every turn.

I used to think the media was the lap dog of the Dem's. Now it's got to the point that the Dem's are the lap dog of the media
Interesting point. The big media has become a class of ideological leaders. A class of freaking "Lenins" (even though the last one is a bit of an overstatement. Lenin was a very bad man, but a revolutionary genius. So was Hitler. Can't have an entire class of such people, thankfully. We would be finished long ago - way back, at the stage of sticks and stones).

Anyway, this view shows - under a different angle - how the media betrayed its role, AND needs to be knocked off its high horse... and forced to make some hard decisions. They do a lot more harm than good. Under a thin veneer, they are Dem ideologues -- who, unlike politicians, are unencumbered by having to deal with reality - and voters.
