Sessions played a big role in getting Trump elected. Trump is giving Sessions the option of resigning. I don't know which path lets Sessions save more dignity -- quitting or getting fired. Bad either way.

And how long would the Dems hold up confirmation of Sessions' replacement?

What sort of mischief could take place at DOJ in the meantime?
