The ad is like the ad on there site www.hitachi.com/semiconductor. The ad on the website is a futuristic watch with flip-up full-motion video screen. The print ad is "futuristic?--not anymore as we MVIS people know," VRD glasses. The ad states that the glasses dont exist yet, but the chip to drive them does. They are advertising their RISC microprocessor.

Someone cut out the Hitachi ad for me from a magazine called, "Boot". The ad is about a RISC processor made by Hitacchi called "SuperH RISC engine" The ad illustrates a pair of VRD glasses consisting of yellow frames, small antenna on left side of the frames, and built in microphone on right side of the frames. To quote the headline of the ad it says, "These Glasses May Not Exist Yet, But The Microprocessor For Them Does."

VRD is slowly creeping into the social consciousness of the masses.

The same ad has appeared in the past two issues of Business Week.
