Brumar,
I don't know what you think my grandkids are doing, but they're pretty innocent.
I'm not saying your grandkids are doing anything wrong. I'm saying that hackers could potentially observe what your grandkids are doing at any given moment in time.

Say your grandkids are playing Candy Crush. Some stalker can send a PM saying, "Oh, I see you're playing Candy Crush. I too love that game. Wanna chat?"

Of course, if you're supervising your kids' time on your device, you can stop any shenanigans before it takes root. But why keep that virtual door open in the first place if technology can help secure your device and your kids' privacy?

That's why everyone should be concerned about digital security and privacy. Unless you want to be a Luddite and banish all connected technology from your life, you need guarantees that our ever-changing world of high-tech doesn't put you or your loved ones in a precarious position.
