that $300 DVD player will give them some serious "wood" someday. Are we referring to those "early adopters" that Nadalin referred to many months ago? and are you talking about DVD's ability to give crystal clear stop frame and slow motion, as well as zooming, all without degradation of the source material that a viewer might tend to replay often? Or are you referring to the fine wood grain cabinets of some of the future DVD players? <gg> WHatever you are talking about, the player will need DVD titles, and as has been said for months now, that is one of the biggest bottlenecks for DVD's adoption. I think it will open up in 1998.
