It has never been big news like this when a Communications Director was appointed, or so controversial. What do you suppose is going on now?

My supposition is that Trump doesn't know from job titles and job descriptions from health insurance policies and wouldn't care if he did. He just wanted someone on the team who was articulate and confident and who could present his positions well and that was an available slot. Could as easily have made him science advisor just to get him on board, then have him do press briefings.

I haven't paid much attention but it seems that the controversy is 1) about his not being qualified for the job that, on paper, he holds (where have I seen that before? <g>) and 2) his having previously taken positions very different from Trump's.
