I came up with the same thing as Hyperloop years before Elon [you can read about it right here in SI]. But I'm not convinced it's a winning engineering idea. It could be aircraft flying high might be more efficient.

Regarding Mars, breathing would be really difficult with so little atmosphere even if it was the right composition: <<According to Musk, Hyperloop would be useful on Mars as no tubes would be needed because Mars' atmosphere is about 1% the density of the Earth's. >>

I would rather go to the Sahara or Antarctica than Mars. Earth is much more habitable than Mars.

There's nowhere to go in the Cosmos. We're already there.

Space travel is so last century. Cyberspace is where it's at.
