Yes, not a road block but once the target has been hit, it signals more potential caution from the algos and automated strategies.

The punchbowl hasn't been taken away from the party, so there's no obvious reason to stop this trend. While bordering on excessive, there seems to be plenty of money available and it appears to be pouring into the market at this time.

Calling tops can be a fool's errand. Unless it comes in the form of a flash crash, being patient and waiting for signs of a top and reversal is the wiser play, IMO.

EDIT - keep in mind that from the 2009 low, we have basically hit the target!! 5 or 6 SPX points out of 1800 doesn't matter all that much to me.....
