US constitution comes to mind.. We the people. Rich white land and slave owners.. A very narrow definition no ?.. BEWARE of people declaring God's law.. I am NOT a humanist.. I think for most that is a cop out.. God gave us a brain for a reason.. Folks that seek to control others.. Use the free will argument to blur that.. Ie sure free will but you really only have one choice.. With tech and medicine today why would ANY GOD exclude pork from the menu.. ? God did not.. Notice he/she does not show up any more.. This was always nonsense for a modern world.. A bunch of old men decided it was appropriate at the tme for health reasons.. Their hearts were prolly in the right place.. Given their limited understanding of how things worked.. Pigs are very smart animals with feelings.. I can easily get my head around that as a reason to not kill and eat them.
