<< Everyone wants to compare their stock with MSFT >>

I'm sure people tried to say the same thing about C$CO. People probably tried to say that you couldn't compare C$CO to MSFT. Well C$CO grew even faster and their stock rise eclipsed even MSFT. People probably said the same thing about ASND. ASND was growing even faster than C$CO. Of course ASND came crashing down but it still went up 32 fold in 1 3/4 years. These momentum stocks can cause lots of pain before they come crashing down.

Anyone for dinner at Rainforest Cafe?
Go see what the posts are like there today (I'm still in Wednesday in Silicon Valley, a few miles from YHOO). Everyone who bailed RAIN is posting their "Whew"s. Everyone else is crying in their beer or whatever they drink at RAIN.

We will see it on this thread. It is only a matter of when. The huge short position will not matter when YHOO implodes.

Look at the chart for UTI, an oil driller that recently went from 48 to 16. It did not happen in a single day like RAIN. It took from November to January. I sold some in the 30's and still hold a few shares, along with some (but not enough) puts that provided insurance. Since my basis is 8 1/2, I do not mind that much, but I wish had sold it all in the 40's (even if the taxes would take a chunk -- never again will I hold on to avoid paying taxes)

My prediction is that YHOO will burst more like RAIN or EFII. It is only a matter of time and from how high. I think that it will be in the next week or two when the "It was the Asian Flu" disappointing earnings reports start to come in hot and heavy.

I can understand those with low basis wanting to hold on, but anyone buying here is crazy. You will be able to buy soon at half the current level.
