I think it matters and so do a lot of other people. Why did Congress and the Senate so overwhelmingly vote to ban the President from lifting sanctions on Russia? Because they don't want him to be able to reward Putin for having Wikileaks release damaging info on Hillary. 98 % of Congressmen think there was a Trump-Russian deal whether they're willing to say it or not. Actions speak louder..
